I would say no. I was due in November, so I didn't go through the whole winter. I'm originally from the Midwest so I might have a different feeling on winter here than you. But in the winter I generally only wear a fleece jacket. But we also don't spend a lot of time outside. If we were going to a football game or something I might wear one of my warmer jackets that I still have from the Midwest.

I have lived in Dallas and have been pregnant in Texas. Unless you are outside a lot for extended periods of time, then you'll be fine with out a maternity coat. In Texas, you are likely driving everywhere, so you'll only be outside from car to wherever you are going. Wear a warm (un buttoned coat) and scarf and you'll be fine.

Also, I was really hot all the time when pregnant

@MamaG: I know! I totally plan to take DD to the zoo when she gets up from her nap. Even if it starts raining, we will just play in and enjoy the rain!
