I don't have any experience with it, but I looked it up out of curiosity, and it looks similar to the Fairhaven Health products like Ovaboost and FertilAid. I"m guessing this is just a different brand that does the same thing, with very similar ingredients (Ovaboost has a few more supplements in it). I'd say it couldn't hurt to try it, since supplements are a lot safer than meds usually.

@MrsMcD: I stole this from the website: "Pregnitude is a reproductive support dietary supplement for women that helps support ovulatory function, menstrual cyclicity and quality of eggs. Pregnitude contains 2000mg of myo-inositol, as well as 200mcg of folic acid."

@LindsayInNY: Do you know if you'd take this instead of a prenatal? Or with a prenatal?

I've heard of it but I think it's only widely been used in Europe and just came here not too long ago. I've heard of it as a good treatment for PCOS specifically.

@pui: She said to continue with the prenatals. It's a powder that you mix with water I guess? It's a behind the pharmacy item (but not RX) so I would need them to order it for me. That'll be nice an awkward, LOL!

Yes, you mix it in water twice a day. I've tried it some for my PCOS. It doesn't taste like anything, though it's a little work to get it to fully dissolve. You can also order it online if you don't want that awkward moment at the pharmacy, haha!
I didn't take it long enough to see results, but it did help with my morning carb cravings.

@TheReelDeal: Ooh, good call. I might do that then. Why does it have to be so darn expensive though?!

@LindsayInNY: "menstrual cyclicity" is my new favorite phrase.

@lindsayinny: LOL! That was exactly what I thought, I felt like if I cared enough I could have gotten the ingredients separately but alas I didn't.

I used it! It helped my progesterone levels during my luteal phase (they were previously almost non-existent) and egg quality (so sayeth my doctor from an ultrasound). When I asked for it at the pharmacy, they said they used to carry it, but not many people asked for it so they stopped. They started stocking it for me and it wasn't awkward at all (for me).

@HayleyJane: Really?! My doctor prescribed progesterone to help stop the brown CM/spotting during my LP and I guess lengthen it? I didn't know Pregnitude would help that though...

@LindsayInNY: Yeah, I guess the folic acid + myo-inositol combo helps regulate the hormones overall. I've heard of people taking both the Pregnitude and progesterone. But for me, it was enough to just take the Pregnitude - after I had been on it a few months, my levels were exactly where the doc wanted them. You have to keep taking it, though - the one month I didn't, my levels went down again and my LP was a couple of days shorter.

@HayleyJane: I want to add things one by one... I think I'm going to do the progesterone and see if that helps the pre-AF issues. Then maybe add in Pregnitude?

When I saw the title of this post I thought it had something to do with pregnant women with attitude. Duh

Yup! I took it and got pregnant that month after not ovulating on my own for several months before that. I bought mine online so I didn't have to deal with any awkward pharmacy situations. Lol
