What do you all think so far?

@avivoca: I thought it was way better this time (so far, there's still time).

I found the discussion of overturning Roe v. Wade very upsetting. We cannot go backwards like that.

@lawbee11: I have no doubt that there are plenty people that would like to. Scary.

@Anagram: It's better, but I still have a hard time following.
And there he goes reverting back to his childish ways.

Hillary is pissed! Lol
I can actually follow this debate more easily than the last two.. that's something

What is Trump's thing with Putin? He's obsessed. He doesn't understand anything at all about how the world works. At all. We would all be in gulags in 2 years if Trump were elected.

@lawbee11: I think her answer reveals her confidence in winning. She was very direct and didn't cushion her answer at all, which made me a bit nervous about undecided voters and evangelicals that don't want to go with Trump but feel bound by the pro-life issue.

I think this is the best debate for her so far. She's sticking to the issues even when it she's getting fired up and she's countering his generic attacks with specifics.

@lawbee11: Agreed. I've always been pro-choice, but hearing some of the personal stories on HB over TFMR has made me think about abortion in an entirely different way ... and his language about these agonizing situations just made me so ragey.

@Maysprout: the thing that worries me is that the bar is set SO LOW for Trump--people just want him to remain fairly calmISH and essentially not put his foot in his mouth the entire time, and they'll count it as a win for him. By "people", I mean traditionally republican/conservative voters.
I don't think they really care that he doesn't make sense--they just hear "make a good deal", "build a wall" and love him even more.

"If we ran this country like I run my business, we would have a country to be proud of."
Didn't he declare bankruptcy?
coconut / 8472 posts
@avivoca: DH just pointed out if he ran the country like his business we'd be declaring bankruptcy 6 times.

Is he saying the sexual assault allegations have been debunked because he denied them?
And what's the deal with saying she and Obama were caught in tape inciting violence at his rallies?
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21628 posts
@lawbee11: the way Trump spoke about that issue was sickening.

Why did the moderator just ask Hillary a question about "pay to play" and then not give her the full 2 minutes to answer? And then when Trump started talking over her, the moderator said "Let Mr. Trump talk". Like...wtf, it was her turn1?!
watermelon / 14467 posts
@ShootingStar: That's what I thought. Laws help us.
I especially enjoys how he can't take responsibility for anything he's been accused of. And I wish he would quit bringing up the emails. She's been investigated and found not guilty. Time to move on.

I don't think Trump knows what the word debunked means. Just because you denied the allegations doesn't mean that they were debunked.
honeydew / 7303 posts
Trump was coherent at the beginning of the debate and now his sentences are just jumbled up words. He has no focus whatsoever!
GOLD / watermelon / 14076 posts
@ShootingStar: There was an undercover video made by James O'Keefe (same guy who made the Planned Parenthood videos) of two DNC operatives apparently planning to incite violence at Trump rallies. They've already been fired by the DNC. Not sure why he's blaming Hillary and Obama.

And how have the sexual allegations been debunked? Wtf.
Also, the reason why India and China have such high growth rates is because of the inflation there. I don't think we want 8% growth if it means 7% inflation YOY.

Hillary you've been in politics for 30 years, why haven't you cured cancer, established colonies on Mars, or made Iran write us a thank you letter? Gah, some politician
coconut / 8472 posts
@lawbee11: Ahh, thanks.
"No, you're unfit." This is the level of discourse we're at 🙄

@avivoca: didn't you hear, the FBI is rigged? It's a disaster. The biggest disaster. yuuuuuge. He will make the FBI great again. His FBI will have the greatest people in the world. Bigly. Oh and also, Gina.

Unrelated to the actual debate topics...it's driving me crazy that Hillary has lipstick on her teeth.
Holy shit, she is just pissed.
