Do you notice when prices go up for things you have purchased before?
I have these items in my Amazon cart right now...
50 pack OPK (paid $12 in 2012)
Divided plates (paid $6 in 2013)

Yes, but like pp mentioned, usually for prime. I bought B's school suppliesat Target for way less than how much it would have been on amazon.
Also, Costco keeps raising their prices. Mexican cheese use to be $8 for a huge bag, now it's $10 for less cheese.

Yes, I hate how that happens. I usually leave things in my Amazon cart just to watch how the prices go up and down before buying.
