just had our pride week and there's also a huge parade among other events to celebrate.

@locavore_mama: This is NYC, honey! You know we love Pride, here.
Queens Pride was this past weekend and Brooklyn Pride is next weekend. The Dyke March is the day before the main event, big parade is on the 29th (with a bunch of events for Pride Week). Staten Island is having its pride in early July this year. I know there's usually something to commemorate the anniversary of Stonewall. And there are probably hundreds of other events.
Too bad I no longer do parades, that's one of my favorite ones to watch.

Not that I'm aware of, but I should look it up! I know last weekend there was a huge event at a local gay club, but that was more for a Cher concert pre party/after party than for Pride month. But I bet they will have something.

We already had our Pride Parade. I think it was in March.

I haven't heard of anything here... but we're in the deep south and in the boondocks, so there probably isn't anything.

The trams fly the pride flag for a few weeks (maybe the whole month?) and there is a big pride parade that we stumbled upon last year.

The parade's at the end of the month. I've kind of always hated it, actually! It came right through our neighborhood and left the place a disaster. I try to go out of town for it!

In Kansas City?! I highly doubt it.
I know San Diego always had lots of Pride parades

@Smurfette: Wait, is there a month in Atl that isn't *pride* month?
@Arden: I know Gainesville has an annual pride day/parade . . . I'm sure it's not the only place in FL!

@MsLipGloss: @Smurfette: Too funny about ATL. I know someone who moved there and back home because she couldn't find any straight men to date. Pride 24/7 365.

There is a huge parade every year in Seattle, AKA the Gay-Friendliest City in the US!

I'm sure there is, but can't recall when it is. You'd think I'd remember since my previous reporting manager is and 80% of my team was as well. Ha!

There are not much goings-on for pride in New Orleans. Decadence in August is a bigger deal, but it is gay male centric. Luckily we just happen to going to Chicago during pride so we will be getting our gay on.

Surprisingly....Salt Lake City has a HUGE pride celebration that is much beloved by the city and its residents (well, maybe not the Mormon ones )!

DC pride stuff starts this week, with the pride parade on Saturday and festival on Sunday. We'll probably go by on Sunday evening and take the kids.

WorldPride is in Toronto this year. It's huge every year, but I imagine more so this year.
We usually go to the parade.
