I have hundreds of printed photos, some are in albums but it's turning out to be a lot of albums that take up a lot of space. I like having printed versions though, I prefer that over digital storage only. I'm not creative so scrap booking is out.
What do you do with large quantities of printed photos? Albums? Boxes? Something else?

We just installed a 2-inch wide metal strip covered it with stained wood veneer (and trimmed out the top and bottom with molding) along a long wall in our front hallway. I print 4X6 photos every month or so and we can display around 20 at a time (using magnets). When I print new ones, they go in a photo box that we flip through occasionally.
I used to do scrapbooks too, but I've since converted to online photo books. Much more streamlined and take up way less space.

I do a yearly album. It's 300 photos with space to write some comments, they're called memo albums. It forces me to edit the selection carefully before i print.

I make a family yearbook with the photos vs printing them out. I'm not creative so I just throw a bunch of pictures on the page(s) and insert comments like Halloween or Pumpkin Patch at such-and-such farm on Date.
When DS was an infant, I included his monthly photos in the family yearbook since it's chronological any how so I didn't have to make a separate book. I also burn all the pictures from that year onto a CD as a backup to be included in the book.

I've just been getting chatbooks! But after a year I might switch to yearly photo book too b/c I'd have sooo many chatbooks than I know what to do with!
