DH was making dinner and made a loud crashing noise with the pots and pans. My LO heard it, stopped what she was doing and said " daddy are you okay?"
Awwwww!
What's your proud mama moment this week?

My LO decided to start crawling!! It just came out of nowhere and took us by surprise, but man, he's unstoppable and under our feet now!

My 10 year old nephew has been staying with us since the start of summer but he had to leave today to prepare for the new school year. He was crying and my DD came over to console him. She is 14 months old so doesn't talk too much on her own yet but her actions today were louder than words. She grabbed some tissue and wiped his tears without any prompting and would give him hugs and pat his back. It was so caring and sweet to watch.

@katsupgirl: Aaaaaw, so lovely.
@NurseMommy: Wow, what fantastic words!!
I'm proud of my girlie this week because she played so confidently with the other children at her friend's 1st birthday party. She's fearless! She loved the bouncy castle, loved the ball pit and loved all the other kids! I was such a wallflower when I was a child so it makes my heart swell to see her joining in so readily.

@NurseMommy: yay for more words! I love this age so much but I have said that at every stage. DD is like a parrot lately and repeating our words. It's so fun!

We've been away for over a week and my mom came over to see us tonight and bring dinner. Thought my DS would play strange but when she reached for him he gave her a hug AND a kiss! He never even kisses DH. My mom was so happy and I was so proud of him!

For us, DS has been learning to walk so he's walking better and further as each week passes. Also, he can now wave bye-bye and blow kisses on demand!!
