Ive heard this many times. There is a natural version of baby orajel which doesn't have this ingredient.

My ped actually told me at her 4-month appt not to use it. I've used it 2x, when she was so inconsolable I couldn't get her to take Motrin (which she loves!). We also have a natural version

I've heard of this before but like many others, we use the natural version. We actually checked on this before purchasing anything for little man a year ago.
