What do you do to entertain your LO if you have to pump while they are awake? Right now I have LO on the couch and I keep reaching over to give her the paci or to wave a toy at her. I much prefer pumping when she's napping, but it wasn't an option this time.

This has been so hard for me. I usually sit him in the bumbo with a toy and keep him within arms reach.

haha I put mickey mouse on the other day and put her in the swing. no shame! lol!

I put her in her crib with the mobile on ... I dread the day she's not into that thing anymore! It's a life saver!

I just had him bouncing on my knees since he was hungry and was not going to calm down. Very frustrating!!

lately the most entertaining thing i can use to distract LO for long-ish periods of time is his gym mat with the animals hanging over his face when i put him on his back. i use the mat to eat my meals too.

I don't pump much anymore, but when LO was little I used to sit next to him on the floor while he was in the bouncy seat. That would usually entertain him for at least 10 mins or so.

I put DS in his swing while I pump or on his activity mat. I prefer to pump while he naps, but like you said sometimes it just doesn't work.

I put her in the swing or bouncer.

I put him on the activity mat, although that's very stressful since he rolls around a lot. If he gets fussy laying there I turn on the tv for him and he's memorized

I used to put her on the activity mat. Now she goes in the jumperoo or I turn on Baby Einstein (truth!)
