In the recent push present thread, I think @MrsSCB put it nicely that a gift after the birth of a child is meant to commemorate that special occasion.
It got me wondering if any moms out there gave (or are planning to give) their SO a present at the birth of their child.
What would be the perfect "push present" for your SO?

I hadn't thought of it before but I like the idea of giving him something to celebrate! DH has a few items his parents saved from when he was a baby and I'm thinking of having them put in a shadowbox for him.

I like the idea of something that can be engraved, with enough space to include other dates as well.

I was JUST thinking about this! I'm interested to see what other mama's have done. I was thinking about buying matching shoes for the hubby and DS since the hubby has been lusting over these shoes FOREVER. But I'm not sure it's a good "sentimental" present to mark the occasion.

Hmm yeah all I can think of is something engraved... Or maybe something your DH will be able to use with the child when they get older? Like a baseball glove or something?
