My LO turns 6 months this week and everyone I talk to keeps asking me about having another kid.

I do. I'm honest about it... just because I'm not TTC any time soon. If I was, I would just lie and say we wanted to wait a little bit.
Personally, I think it's a very rude question and would never ask anyone it, so I don't feel bad lying about it if needed. After already having a miscarriage, I'm not comfortable with people knowing I'm TTC.

My LO is 2months old so no one has asked me about the next baby yet. I want her to be atleast 3years old before my 2nd baby is born

yes i do. i think people just naturally ask that right after having a baby. it's like when you're dating they ask, "when are you getting married?" and after getting married they ask, "when do you plan to have kids?" etc etc etc... lol!

@kokobee: Serious, my LO was delivered by C-section at 4:50am and my MIL was in my recovery room at 6am...after one look at my LO she asked us to start planning the second one! LOL!

I was still in the hospital after having my son when the questions about #2 started coming. I had my annual well woman appointment with by OB/GYN and was asked by everyone when we'd be having the next one. I honestly tell them we aren't and they keep shaking their heads and telling me we'll change our minds.

All.the.time. It started when LO was about 8 months or so. My standard answer is "one at a time". I feel like it's ambiguous enough without being rude.

My answer to that is gong to be the same as my answer to "When are you having kids?" "When you stop asking."

I get that question all the time, but it doesn't bother me at all. Heck, I've even asked people if/when they were having another! I think I'm completely baby crazy.

We're still getting questions on our first one because we're not public yet. It's awkward, especially knowing what we know.
