Is an extra 100 watts on the Ninja blenders worth an additional $30-$40?

I don't know but mine says 1000watts - professional on the front. Bought it a couple years ago and still LOVE IT.

@charlotte: thank you! I am precisely wondering about the 1,000 watts Vs 1,100 watts model. I don't think it'll be an issue but I don't want to regret it in 6months and beating myself over $34!

@regberadaisy: ooh yeah. I'd say we only use ours every couple of days but it does a great job with ice etc and we have no complaints. Hopefully someone with the 1100 can chime in!

@charlotte: yeah, we make a double batch of smoothies daily. Right now we use more juice than I'd like just so everything will blend. We occasionally use it to make sauces, etc but would do so much more often if we had a better blender!
