you're sleepy!
*raises hand*
LO's sleep has been hit or miss lately. She woke up about 5 times last night; 2 of which was after I went to bed. Then I was up for the day at 6am. Thankfully she caught an extra 40 minutes!

Me me! Even if I'm so sleepy during her feedings, by the time she's done and I put her back in her room, I end up tidying up he house or on my phone and can't fall back asleep.

Me!!!
P hasn't been feeling well & I can only nurse her from one side due to injury (of course the injured is her favorite side) so my supply from the one of course isn't enough & she literally cried or fussed in her sleep ALL. NIGHT. LONG! I know at one point I fell asleep despite her fussing & tossing/turning out of sheer exhaustion. =/

Me! 3rd trimester sleep is awful! and having a LO who is so unpredictable with sleep, is no fun!!

I was and JUST took an hour nap with her. Whole new person over here!!

I feel like I'm always tired regardless of how much (or little) sleep I get

Sooooo sleepy. We had a SCREAM fest for over an hour in the middle of the night at our house for no apparent reason. LO didn't want to nurse, didn't want to be rocked, didn't want to be put down, didn't want mommy, didn't want daddy just wanted to SCREAM!

Ugh.... count me in! Between trips for work, vacation to see my sister, family events I feel like I've been running on empty for the last week and my house was an absolute disaster. Tonight I promise I will be in bed by 10pm! Seriously!

sleepy here too - fighting a stomach bug (me and the LO) and we are both sleeping poorly. blahhhh.

I'm actually not sleepy today! Yesterday was a different story though!

yessssssssssss
Made a smoothie and it's helping. I used to be able to get P to go back to sleep when she woke up and stay asleep until 8ish...now she's ready to play at 7 at the latest! And, for whatever reason, I am not sleeping well.

*raises hand* Not sure what's going on with me, but last night was lots of cramping and little sleep (waking up frequently). I'm ready for today to be over with!
pomegranate / 3729 posts
@MamaMoose: Oh no. That's the worst. P seems to do that if she has a stomach ache (like needs to poop) or her teeth hurt.
GOLD / squash / 13464 posts
@bpcmarj: well she had a massive poop a few hours later when she woke up for the day and I think she might be cutting a top tooth so both of those are viable possibilities!!

I would have raised my hand 1.5 hours ago but I just woke up from a looong nap! Napping while LO naps in the afternoons has become a habit.

me! I'm always tired these days. AJ wakes up about 5 times every night and I nurse him majority of the time. And I get up at 5 am to get ready for work.

yes. It was weird: yesterday, I was like a lady on crack.
I cleaned everything, cooked, went on a jog...super productive.
Today? I have done *nothing*
I take care of LO, but I haven't even bothered to get up and put my empty cup of coffee in the sink.

I am always tired...it's just the status quo now. I hate feeling low energy constantly.

Me - I slept poorly last night due to my cold and LO woke up at 5:25 to torture me. It's now 9:52 and I'm going to bed!

I'm ok now but was tired for the majority of the day. Lo's sleep has been crappy since she turned 8 months. That was a little more than a month ago...

Raising my hand! I even took a 2 hour nap today, since Dan was home. Me & Dan were talking earlier, and I think being tired is just part of life now. We're going to be tired for the next 18+ years!

Very unusual, but nope! We've been sick all weekend, so C and I have been sleeping a lot the past few days, I actually feel caught up for once, just for crummy reasons. Today's the first day we have felt normal finally.
coconut / 8305 posts
@photojane: Sleep starts returning to some resemblance of normal around age 5..... I was the crazy one that got consistent sleep back & then decided starting back at the beginning would be a good idea! Lol

Me! Sleep was going not too bad, only up twice a night. Now the last couple nights DS has been up 4-5 times and hungry. And getting up earlier to start the day.
I look forward to sleep getting better again.
GOLD / pomelo / 5737 posts
@photojane: I feel like I don't notice tired as much as I would have before though. If I don't focus on it, it's not so bad usually... Today was worse than usual though. Also I admittedly have a decent sleeper. These 1-4 wakeups/night plus terrible naps and taking longer than usual to get down is the worst it's been since lo was a newborn (<3 months)...

i don't remember the last time i felt truly well-rested. i miss those days.

Yup. *raises hand* I wasn't during the day, but this kid hasn't allowed me to lay my head on a pillow yet today (and yesterday, I guess, since it is now 1 am).
Especially when he wants to be bear-trapped to my nips all night...

Me I've been up all night... unable to sleep with these false labor contractions, and my racing brain! I'm tired but my mind just won't shut off. I wish I could take maternity leave a little early so I didn't have to feel guilty/worry about work.
papaya / 10570 posts
*raises hand* 3rd trimester sleep is no joke! If I'm not struggling to roll over I'm getting up to go to the loo (for a pathetic trickle - which then makes me angry!) or I'm lying awake thinking about things I want to do around the house or in the garden. I go on maternity leave in a week and a ha;f and I'm hoping once I actually start achieving some decent nesting activities during the day I may be able to switch off at night!

I'm up with a cluster feeding LO... It's been a long night! This little guy is HUNGRY!

Me! Xander decided to wake me up an hour early (and I already have to get up pretty early), and while I was able to get HIM back to sleep, I wasn't able to fall back asleep myself!
grapefruit / 4066 posts
me! LO decided to sleep from 7:30-4 which was nice, but then at 4am decided she wanted to start the day! so from 4-5 i tried to get her to go back down, which she finally did, but I had to get up at 5:30 to get ready for work booo
GOLD / grapefruit / 4555 posts
Me! A pot of coffee (4 cups) just isn't enough most mornings but I don't drink anymore caffeine during the day so I'm usually SOL.
