I am sitting on the couch in the living room. All the sudden I hear talking from the office/playroom, right off the living room, I am home alone, well R is sleeping. Freaked me out. R and I didn't even play in there tonight. This ever happen to you?

Oh yes. The Fisher Price barn was the worst for this. And sometimes his Thomas train stuff. "We have to be on track, and on time!" bellows Sir Topham Hat. So freaky.

Haha yes and always so scary! We have a creepy singing whale in the tub and often in the middle of the night will hear it sing "bubbles, bubbles, everywhere". Scares the crap out of us!

@Smurfette: omfg. My nana gave Chloe this awful, awful doll for her first Xmas. It wasn't even age appropriate (she was 7 weeks) but the damn thing was motion sensored.
It was a baby doll with a blanket that would lift its arms/blanket over its eyes and said "peek a boo!" And "I see you!" and "I see you mommy!"
Do you have any idea how creepy this was at 3am? The cats would walk past it and set te damn thing off.
We couldn't find the off switch and lord knows where the battery was hidden. My husband is a biomedical engineer and we couldn't figure the stupid thing out.
TRASH!!!!

Ugh the rooster on DD's stupid v-tech push toy would always go off at random times. I HATE that toy and am so glad she never uses it anymore. Our M&D puzzle that makes animal sounds also goes off randomly sometimes too.

This happened to our laugh n learn puppy before wagon jr was even born. We got it as a shower gift and stored it in the closet, and it would go off in the middle of the night-- "play with me!" Freaked us out so we took out the batteries and it would STILL GO OFF. "PLAY WITH ME." so freaky. Oh also every time we switched off the playroom lights the Melissa and Doug transportation puzzle would go off! UGH.
