So I will admit it....I unapologetically love my Birkenstocks. I was so happy that they became “cool”. I really love my metallic gizehs. But....my husband despises them. He went so far as to hide a pair of them. Literally HID them in the back corner of the closet so I couldn’t find them. An entire summer went by because I thought I had lost them.
Soooo...we might be temporarily relocating to Greece in a few weeks and I need some comfy non-orthopedic looking summer shoes/sandals. I’ll be walking lots. Does anyone wear anything they love? Bonus if Nordstrom or Zappos carries them. Help a mama out!

I haven't ordered them yet, but I'm thinking about a pair of Sorel "Ella" sandals that I saw an ad for on FB! They look like this pair I have that fit comfortable around my ankles but those have a horrible sole, I'm hoping that the Sorels would be better...but I haven't tried them yet!

I love my Rose sandals by Keen! They're hiking sandals, so they have a fair amount of support, your toes are protected, and they're waterproof. They come in a lot of different colors. Mine are black (this isn't a picture of me, though). I bought mine on eBay for $30. I think they're around $100 on Amazon.

I don't have these exact ones, but a prior year's version in both the slide version and the ankle strap version and they are super comfy and supportive - got me through my pregnancies. They are Velcro adjusters so they work great for summer foot swelling, but they are not noticeable, and are easy to put on and off.

I have two pairs of croc sandals that I love. No one can tell they are crocs but they are super comfy and water proof. One pair are flip flips and the other are t straps with ankle wraps

I have leopard print crocs flats that are soooo comfy and not very croc looking. great for when you don’t want a sandal and they don’t get foot odors like most closed shoes you wear without socks.

@Littlebit7: Did you ask him what he hates about them? I’d ask DH what he likes and maybe grab a few pics and see what he thinks! Just a suggestion!
Naot Dorith sandals are simple. They can be found on Zappos and Nordstrom. Not too sure on your style and likes but overall I’d pick something cute and comfortable!

I was converted on a trip to Europe, actually. We walked all day, and the only person who didn’t have sore feet was wearing these. Now I buy a fresh, cushy pair every summer. It has to be this multi-strap style; their regular flip flops aren’t amazing like this style. -

I had the same pair of Gizeh's for more than 10 years and finally had to get rid of them because I couldn't stand to look at them anymore.
We live in the tropics now, so I wear sandals just about every day. I looove these OluKai leather flip flops and have them in both Sahara and red. They are almost as comfortable as Birks and I walk tons in them and wear them on vacation.

I was gifted a pair of Sanuks with the yoga mat soles and those are super comfy!
