I was at the farmers market and bought a beautiful bouquet of swiss chard. Of course I didn't have anything in mind for it and all the recipes I normally make that use it, I am missing the other ingredients.
Do you have any recipes for swiss chard? I'm thinking maybe a soup?

I like that you can pretty much put whatever you want in it. I like goat or feta cheese.

I usually just do a quick savory stir fry with it. Little garlic, olive oil, s&p, garlic salt and tomatoes if I have it.

I use chard the same way I use kale. Roasted with beets and tossed in balsamic vinegar is yummy. Or sautéed with oil, garlic and bacon!!

I steam or saute it, and then put mayo on it -- it sounds disgusting, but it tastes soooo good (my husband is totally not convinced). It's how my grandma always eats it.

You can also make pesto out of chard and freeze any excess before adding the cheese. We did that as an alternative to our normal stir fry when we had a lot and it was delicious!

@mrsjazz: I eat green smoothies every morning!! but I also have a TON of kale to get through too - I generally use kale for my smoothies.
