What detangler spray/leave-in conditioner do you use for your LO? I've been using a paraben-free kind from Target. However, DD's head is flaking big time so I need to re-evaluate the ingredients!

Following! We just use an adult Pantene right now, and it seems to be fine. Out of curiosity, how do you know it's the leave-in that is causing the flaking?

@SweetCaroline: I don't buy a specific one instead I put a squirt of her conditioner in a spray bottle, add water, and shake - works great!

@LovelyPlum: I don't, I have no idea! Any tips? We use an Aveeno baby conditioning shampoo that is rated very low on the EWG. It could just be winter dryness. We are going to do spa night at home tonight and slather her head with coconut oil when we get home...wash it off during bath.
It's like crazy flaky, like newborn flakiness!

We like this one from Nature's Baby Organics:
http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Baby-Organics-Conditioner-Detangler/dp/B002WC8E9S/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1454607964&sr=1-1&keywords=leave+in+conditioner+baby+organic+natures+baby
We generally rinse it out, but it is great if we don't have a chance at the end of the bath as a leave-in, too. I even use it on my hair sometimes!

@SweetCaroline: I just came across this article on natural products for super dry scalp. She also has suggestions for eczema, if you think that's the root of the problem:

It seems like something with tea tree or calendula might be the way to go. Good luck! Let us know if anything helps!

@SweetCaroline: Not sure if this is what you already use since I know they do sell it at some Targets, but we love the Honest Company detangler spray. It's tangerine vanilla so LO smells like a creamsicle!

@SweetCaroline: We used to use J&J and Aveeno products and found that they dried out DS1's scalp so much so that he had a ton of dandruff and dry scalp. We switched to Shea Moisture Baby shampoo, and that helped a ton. No dryness this winter and we use it on DS2 who is 4 months.
