In addition to some others already mentioned, I liked a miniseries called Top of the Lake. It was recommended on a blog I follow, and I thought it was interesting. It has Elisabeth Moss, from Mad Men, as the main character.

We just caught up on Mad Men and loved it! I like watching shows with a good amount of seasons on Netflix.
I agree with The League (if you like football) and definitely Weeds. Another one we enjoyed was Battlestar Galactica.

OK now I have so many shows my list that I'm going to write them all down on scraps of paper, stick them in a bowl, and randomly pick one to start! Then we'll just keep adding/picking as we finish up a show and need a new one.

I just wanted to add my vote to Parks and Rec and Sons of Anarchy, there are several other great recommendations on here though, I just think those 2 would fit with the types of shows you guys like and they are both great!
