Currently we own a VW Jetta and a Ford Ranger. My DH needs a new truck because a) all 3 of us can't fit in the Ranger and b) more importantly, LO has to sit in the front with the air bag off and it gives me a heart attack.

It wasn't in the budget to get a new car when she was born (we had just gotten me the Jetta) but with a raise he just got, and a LOT of scrimping, we may be able to get a new car this year instead of next.

DH wants a small truck (like a Tacoma) but frankly they are just too expensive. We think a small SUV (Mazda CX-5, Honda CRV, etc) may fit our bill and needs a bit better. We plan on having another LO in the next 3-4 years, so it'll have to handle 2 car seats.

So, have at it! Recommend your smaller SUV, preferably under 25-28k.
