Preferably one that can somehow incorporate two cameras, so we can add another when we have another LO. Our current one has been dropped too many times...we will need to keep the next out of LO's hands!

I do NOT recommend the Samsung BabyVIEW. Ours has cut out in the middle of the night, and when I called customer service they were unbelievably rude.

We have a Motorola video monitor, possibly the MBP33. Not 100% on the model, but it does look like this one. We love it--couldn't imagine not having it!

We like the summer infant video one. It can scan between multiple cameras, and has a long battery life.

@daniellemybelle: Thanks for that! Bad customer service sucks.
@illumina: That is one I'm really considering..do you think the smaller monitor one is ok? I'm thinking about that one but I want one where you can get an extra camera and I looked up the smaller one on amazon and couldn't find an extra camera (though I only looked on amazon and I don't know if the cameras are interchangeable...)
@beaker: Which one do you have? We have the touch one and I'm wondering if the cameras are also able to be used with the boost? I know the boost's cameras have the temp sensors on it but I was thinking if our camera still works (it's been having some weird sounds, not sure if its the camera or the parent unit) then I could use the old camera and have two cameras whenever we have another kiddo...

@googly-eyes: sorry, I just checked the box and we actually have the MBP36: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Motorola-MBP36-Digital-Video-Monitor/dp/B0057NDIG8
Maybe the monitor on that one is a little bigger--the size seems fine to me No idea about the extra camera though, as we only have the one.

@googly-eyes: we have the touch one too, two actually. I have no idea if the cameras can be used with a different unit. (I'm assuming the boost is a different brand?) We had an issue with the monitor part and shipped it back to summer infant and they sent us a replacement.

@illumina: ah, thanks. Maybe I will call Motorola and find out if I decide to go with them.
@beaker: the boost is like the upgraded version of the touch one but it doesn't have great reviews on amazon. Actually all the monitors have reviews that seem to be hit or miss.

I have the Motorola one and love it. We have two cameras for it, one for each of our twins' cribs and it works great. It's super easy to switch back and forth between camera views manually, or to have it on auto rotate.
I didn't get the pan and zoom one that's more expensive though, just the regular one and it works fine for us.

I have this Infant Optics one. Works great for me and the price was right http://www.amazon.com/Infant-Optics-Digital-Monitor-Vision/dp/B0052QYLUM/ref=zg_bs_166870011_1

@sunshineandsushi: Our summer infant one pans and it's really annoying actually! Because of the touch screen I don't always notice it moving til it's pointed at the wall or floor or something.. So that's kind of a positive to me!
