@Mrs. Jacks: I am shamelessly soliciting medical advice here...Or at least trying to figure out if I should go back to the Ped today bc they are open on Sat. H has the same spots as yesterday but they are a lot darker today. I did notice one more on her wrist last night and one more small one on her head. Ped told me yesterday that she may get more, so not to freak out, but to watch her temp and be on lookout for any type of sickness. Her temp is fine, 98.0 this morning, and she is her normal squealy squirmy busy happy self. BUT, I'm used to baby acne spots that show up looking their worst and then they only get better. These bumps look way darker today! Should I bring her in so he can see the difference? It's a lot of work to get in and out of the Ped just for him to tell me he doesn't know what it is and to just keep watching it! I am so grateful for any advice you might have as to whether or not I should bring her back!

@lemondrop: Thank you! I just dont know if she had a fever & it's such a mom fail that I never thought to check! She was a little fussy on Wed, and took a 2.5 hour nap in her carseat (she's a 30 min napper and usually wakes up as soon as I bring the carseat inside). Thurs the nanny kept her and said she was really fussy. But she was FINE and happy for me! I just wish I knew if she had a fever when she was fussy and that would explain it! It's driving me bananas that I dont know!

@chopsuey119: I kind of wonder that! Esp bc all of the spots are outside where her pajamas cover. She always sleeps in sleep and plays with long slvs and when I found the spot on her wrist it occurred to me that all of the spots are at the edges of where her PJs cover. Then I looked up bed bugs and horrified myself! Fortunately it looks like bed bug bites are big welps on the bites and they tend to have big clusters. I changed her crib sheet anyway=). But I dont know what random bug could have gotten her! The thought totally grosses me out- some f'ing bug snacking on my daughter while she is sleeping!!!

@NovBaby1112: we do have a chihuahua who is actually overdue for his flea meds! I'm going to put it on him and stick him outside for a while so they can jump off of him if he has them. If that IS it- what else can I do? Do I need to wash everything in the house or will putting flea meds on the dog solve the prob? And I put aquaphor on them starting today, but do you know what she used? Can I use neosporin? We've used meosporin on her finger before and she was fine with it...

@MamaMoose: Well she actually doesnt have her shots until 4/17. I cannot remember why our 2 mos shots ended up being late and then they said it has to be a full 2 mos before she can get the next ones...
