Do you think red is a gender neutral or gender specific color? I am trying to sell some diapers and some people won't buy red for their sons! I think of red as a neutral color!

I think red is very neutral and would buy them if I had a son!

I think red is gender neutral; in fact, I dressed DS in one of DD's old red outfits today!

I think it's gender neutral! I bought a red diaper I even bought a few light light pink ones too

I think red is gender neutral but have seen some reds that tend more towards a dark pink.

I just bought my LO a red onesie and was worried people would think she's a boy in it. But I bought it anyway

Red is definitely a neutral color in GA. I think it's neutral no matter were you are. I hardly see baby girls in red though. It surprises me that people wouldn't buy red diapers for a boy.

neutral. But honestly I dont care much about color and gender. I put my baby girl in blue all the time and people say "oh its a boy right?" and I say "no she is a girl" and they look so confused. They just cant handle an infant girl in blue.

@MUI831: this.
people are weird. it's a diaper- the baby is not going to care what color the diaper is that they are emptying their bowels into. it's under clothes most of the time anyway.

That is weird! I think neutral.. but I get irritated at gendered clothing any ways and my little boy will be wearing purple, pink, and every other color in the rainbow.

Neutral! My strollers and car seats are all red that way I can use for future boys (hopefully!)~

oh totally neutral!! I bought red diapers for my son, if anything I think of it moreso as a boy color!

Neutral but more masculine. Last winter my mom
bought DD a winter jacket that I really liked and it was red. Turns out that it was from the boys section.

I think it's neutral. If I anything I say it leans towards masculine though. Our stroller is fire engine red and we are team green!

I definitely think it’s neutral and if it had to be gender specific I’d say it leans more toward boyish!

That's funny that people think it's a girly color. I keep finding people who think that my daughter is a boy b/c of her red car seat. ...Even though she's all dressed up in pink and ruffles. Ugh.

Red is my favorite color, our whole house has red in it and so did our wedding. However, I think it depends on the item. Gear - neutral, clothing - depends if there are bows, frills, ruffles and such

I think it's gender neutral, so long as it doesn't have any 'boy patterns' on it. I wish we would have gotten a red carseat so if we have a girl next(hopefully) we wouldn't need a new one, or try to cover this green one we have.

It's a boy color, and boy colors can be worn on boys and girls, so that sort of makes it neutral, right?

Who cares? I'd happily stick my son in pink and purple. Colors are neither male nor female, but thinking makes them so.

Totally neutral, IMO. We have a bright red stroller and we're Team Green!

Neutral, definitely! If this pregnancy sticks, I'll be buying red gear.
