Hi. My name's Janie, and I'm a registry stalking addict.
My shower is next Saturday, and I can't stop stalking my BRU registry. I will have no surprises. My husband keeps forbidding me to check it, but I just. can't. stop. I have a problem.
Any other addicts out there? I can't be the only ridiculous stalker.

Haha I am a registry stalker of a different type... When I find out people are engaged I check random websites until I find them! Just to be nosey and see what they like..

I also thought id have no surprise, but a surprising number of people shop right before they go to the shower. I checked that day and a ton of stuff was bought that I hadn't seen.

Haha I was too!!! But a few weeks before my shower I made myself stop! I wanted some surprise. Maybe have your husband change the password and not tell you???

i didn't for the baby registry.... wedding registry, DH and i were both addicted to looking at it!

Yep. And my shower isn't even until December, and the invitations haven't even gone out, and I'm still stalking. I also stalk my friends' registries who have showers coming up and get sad for them when nobody's bought anything.

I totally stalked mine! Regardless, there were still a lot of gifts that weren't on my registry that were total surprises. And who cares, you are the one that created your registry so it's not like you don't know what's on it! The amazon.com one is for super stalkers because it even tells you who bought an item.

@photojane: i am sooo guilty. I was just on there this weekend and a bunch of stuff was purchased and i got all giddy. Although in my defense there were a few things that had been discontinued and the swing I originally wanted was now on sale so I switched these items out just in time bc they were purchased the next day!
I just posted on our month board that I also peeked at my invite that was at my parents house kind of hidden since it's a surprise. I'm so bad I can't help myself!

Totally guilty. I look at them both. Every single day. And my shower isn't for another MONTH! Lol

Guilty as well. My shower is this Saturday. It started out innocently enough when I wanted to update the registry when I noticed that some items were purchased. Since then I just check. I'm trying not to look this week so I will have a surprise this weekend
