Can't stop! It's so much fun! Checked at work today and got A+A blankets, crib sheets and some medicine cabinet necessities since I last looked 2 days ago...checked right now b/c I'm super bored and someone bought the baby book that I just added this afternoon! Registry stalking is my new favorite thing!

Hehe. I did that a lot too. I had two separate registries to keep up with and had to modify them accordingly to avoid duplicate gifts. I should have assigned the task to one of my sisters but it was fun seeing gifts purchase one by one.

I'm a new member to the registry-stalkers club! I started getting a couple of alerts from Amazon and every time I check, more gifts have been bought! I'm also like @yin: though, and trying to update and modify two different registries now to avoid duplicates! So fun!

Ooh, I didn't know Amazon could do alerts! Although our registry is set up on DH's account, so I wouldn't get them anyway. I have been strategically adding things that I think we'll end up wanting and deleting fluff things we won't buy if they get ignored--I'm trying to milk the system and purchase as little myself as possible!

@tororojo: I don't know how it's set up because I don't get alerts for every single gift. I think only the ones that are mailed directly to me so far. No alerts for the ones people buy and intend to give at the shower. So it kind of ruins the surprise a little.

I checked yesterday and was depressed seeing only two swaddlers had been bought. Have a shower on the 13th and 27th, so hopefully most hadn't done their shopping yet. So hard to not look!!!

I just started my registry but fully intend to stalk it
I'd never tell DH that it has the capability though, he'd get mad at me for ruining the surprise lol!

LOL I was a total registry stalker! My mom yelled at me and said I wouldn't have any surprises - my argument was that I still didn't know what was from who

@sorrycharlie: Ah, but the Amazon registry tells you who bought what! I don't intend to check it all the time, but I'm always ruthlessly editing the registry!
I think the next 2 weeks will be tough because I will want to check it all.the.time!
