Polo lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel has this REALLY yummy bread that has some type of cheese and something spicy in it. HAHA. I never got around to asking what the ingredients were!
It's really good though.

There is a local place called Not Your Average Joe's and they have the BEST bread-- all kinds of yummy onions and sundried tomtaoes baked into it-- and they give you a dish of grated parmesan, chili flakes and minced garlic and pour olive oil all over it. YUM!!!!

Table bread is one of the things I miss about the US. Restaurants in the UK never give you complimentary bread for the table! (Or chips or any other nibblies)

I second the wheat (dark brown) bread at Cheesecake factory and the cheddar biscuits at Red Lobster. I also love the ones at Fogo De Chao - droolicious!

For all the NYC ladies, have you been to BLT Prime? Instead of bread they serve these enormous gruyere popovers that are so ridiculously good, I'm always full by the time the steak arrives at the table! I also like the baguette at Raoul's in Soho - their bread is like the bread in France, and their butter is really good too!

There's a local steakhouse (TAPS, in Brea-- @chopsuey119, I think you know what I'm talking about!) that has the best sourdough bread with this spicy oil & balsamic dip. Deeeelish.

I second the biscuits at Red Lobster, the yummy pumpernickel (with sweet whipped butter!) at Outback, and my absolute favorite - Olive Garden breadsticks! Can you tell I adore chain restaurants?
