Hi! When is the risk for OHSS? Right after egg retrieval for a few days or can the risk last until transfer? I had retrieval Sunday and have been feeling fine but will keep up the Gatorade if necessary.

I was told to continue watching for symptom up until retrival but that it can technically happen anytime between retrival and AF/pregnancy

@Mrs. Pinky: I heard definitely stay hydrated. Also, do you know how many were retrieved? The risk goes up if you had a ton.

@Mrs. Pinky: I agree with @bluestriped bee: that if you had a lot of eggs at the retrieval you might be at risk. Also if your E2 was testing high before retrieval (goes hand in hand with producing a lot of eggs). I was told that it was likely for me even before the ER, so if your RE didn't seem concerned for you, hopefully you won't have any problems with it! Wishing you all the best for the next few days until transfer. Have you had a fertilization report yet?

Thanks!! I had 8 retrieved and as of yesterday (day2) I had 2 that were two cell and two that were three cell. 4 didn't fertilize. I feel great so hoping I'm in the clear. My RE didn't seem concerned either. Thanks again !

@Mrs. Pinky: you're probably good! Lots of Gatorade!!! Fwiw, I got ohss after the transfer and was drained the same day as my first beta.
