Hey all! This has been something that I have wondered for a while. We have a theme park super close that our whole family gets season passes to every year. We will be taking a trip when I'm around 8 or 9 dpo. Our families don't know we are ttc and I usually ride all the rides when we go...so I wanted some opinions on what everyone thinks about riding rollercoasters and other theme park rides during the TWW? Thanks in advance!

I think you will be okay. I went on a roller coaster when I was just pregnant.
I was about 8 weeks pregnant when we went to NYC for a vacation and did all the touresty things but I had no idea! So we drank a bunch.. walked a ton... went on roller coasters on corny island... seriously things pregnant people shouldn't do. It wasn't till a week after the trip that I realized I didn't have my period and took a test.
BUT! That being said... I think you should also trust your gut.
If you don't feel comfortable don't do it!

I would go with your own comfort level... I didn't put my life on hold until I saw that
. I went skiing in the TWW and had some champagne on NYE . Turns out I was pregnant! But just days pregnant so I wasn't worried.

I was totally pregnant when we went to Cedar Point, and had no idea(I was in the TWW, but I had no idea about this concept of not doing things in the TWW incase you are pregnant lol) I am like @char54: and didn't change anything until I got a BFP. do what YOU feel comfortable with.

My mom went to six flags while 12 weeks pregnant with me, but she didn't know it at the time

I went to an amusement park during my TWW and went on roller coasters and this one vicious ride that practically scrambled my eggs and still got a BFP that cycle! Oh and I also ran a 5k that 2ww , and drank wine.

I definitely don't want to put my life on hold just waiting around for that BFP. I am so thankful that I have my fellow bees to consult! Thank you!

@GrapeCrush: I unknowingly went to Cedar Point while pregnant too! And I rode tons of roller coasters. I wouldn't stress about it, OP. My midwife was completely unconcerned when I told her about it since it was before I even got a BFP.

@wonderstruck: we joke that all the roller coasters I went on, is the reason why DS loves to be go go go and nonstop! We've also said that any future amusement park trips, all women have to take a pregnancy test haha

@GrapeCrush: I actually DID take a pregnancy test on the way there! It was negative, but that changed a few days later.
