My 6 mo old can roll from back to tummy but not tummy to back. She sleeps in a Halo sleepsack (arms are left unswaddled) and has occasionally started to roll onto her belly at night time. She is waking up crying because she can't get back on her back. I would love tips or suggestions on what to do. I hate to make her cry it out since she hasn't mastered the skill to roll tummy to back, but I also don't want to be an enabler. I do practice rolling in both directions with her during the day but she has only rolled from tummy to back a few times and it's definitely not a mastered skill yet. Thanks!
) and then I would go in and fix her up. Not picking her up, just back onto her back with paci (and probably a quick kiss). This was in line with what I read in "Sleeping Through the Night" (or at least what I got out of it). That book helped us a ton, BTW. Anyhoo, IMO, until I knew that DD could actually move where she wanted, I kept helping her. But I am weak!
