So I know there are quite a few people on the boards who run. I have questions since Mr. Google has 934875239847 answers to them...I thought I'd ask you all!
Is there a right/wrong way to run? I've seen such differing opinions on heel striking/etc. I know I could re-train myself, I'm not a fantabulous runner or anything. I just want to prevent injury.
What do you do for cross training? I have a workout video arsenal but have only done them a couple of times, I really need to get back into that.
What's your breathing like? I can't breathe in through my nose very well so I'm a mouth breather. It always looks like I'm about to die thanks to that.
Any tips for this novice?
I ran on my own tonight and was noticing what a difference I had in my foot strike. I'm very sensitive to the cold & wet weather, I always get sick when I run in the cold so I'm SOOO grateful we have a dreadmill.
