How are the summer runs treating you? Any races coming up?
It's been a rough spring for my running motivation, but I'm pumped to get back in to it! I just ran in the heat for the first time this year-I forgot what humidity does to my lungs! But it is SO nice to run without snow on the ground 
No races scheduled yet, but I'm hoping to catch a 5K soon and maybe a 10K in August or September. For now, I just love being in the sun, and so does the pup!

I need to go buy some running clothes, especially a new bra, to fit my postpartum body...but I'm hoping to get out this coming week for my first run in...30 weeks or so?

Ugh, I've been so tired these past 2 weeks (I'll be 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow) that i only have been running once :'( I needto get back in the groove.. .

I'm a newbie to running! I'm trying, but I have 0 stamina yet. I'm just running on the treadmill on our basement for right now. But DH and I signed up for a 5k in August!

I am taking a break until baby gets here and I get clearance to work out, but I typically despise summer running. I do it because I don't have a choice if I am training for a race, but I always try to go before the sun comes up or late in the evening before the sun sets. I signed up for sprint tri in September so I hope I can get back out there by mid July and get back on schedule.

@Navy_Mommy: I had a hard time at first, too. 
I was so exhausted and my boobs hurt so much when I was running! I did a lot more run-walking than running for a while there.

I miss running! I'm 39 weeks today. I had a dream that I went running. It was glorious.

This weather is insanity! Last weekend I was dreading running outside because it was in the low 40s and raining the whole time. This later part of the week and this weekend so far I've been dreading running outside because it is 95, sunny, and humid! Ugh! But aside from working around that crap, running is going pretty well! Got a 15k in July!

@tlcbaby: so I really did sort of forget how hot and gross summer running is. I'm going to have to go out a lot earlier than10:00 am next time. A sprint tri sounds awesome! I'm a crap swimmer, though.
