I have one that lives 45 minutes away and has a toddler and newborn so I don't see her very often
I recently became friends with another SAHM who also has two kids, one is LO's age and she lives much closer.

@cyndistar3: I would love to have more SAHM friends, more people to hang out with during the day! My friends are at different stages of life than me right now..... not married and no kids

I would say 95% of my friends are SAHMs. Most of them were met through various groups on our base.

None We are basically the first of our friends to have a baby. I've been dying to meet more SAHM's in my town but I've had a hard time finding a group (meetup.com hasn't been successful). We started a baby yoga class so I'm hoping some of us stay in touch after it's over.

I had one or two, but they lived at least 30 mins away. I met a couple SAHMs and nannies in playgroups and scheduled weekly playdates with them. That was key for my sanity.

Sadly, I won't have ANY. LO will be here in a few days and I wonder who the heck will want to hang out with me. Luckily for me, a couple of DH's friends have wives who are currently pregnant....so, *at least* i'll know women who have infants very close to my child's age....but those mothers will be working:/

@artbee: Sadly I only actually only see them at church or bible study. I don't go anywhere during the week because DH has to use our only vehicle for work.

I have a group of mommy friends (probably 10-12 families) and the majority are SAHMs, I am only very close with three families, though, and two are SAHMs, one works part-time.

My sister is, and she lives 25 minutes away. I have one other friend with a little girl a few months older and she lives 20-25 mins away.
I know a couple others whom I don't really hang out with.
