I have to admit that I have nooo idea what to do when a recipe says, "add salt to taste." What does that even mean!! How can you know how a meal will taste until it's done??

I always add a minimum amount of salt, and then taste the food when it's done cooking... and then add more salt if needed. It's always easy to add more salt... hard to remove it though!

How much salt do you add when it says, "salt to taste"?
