Costco and yes to the Executive Membership. I would actually get better rewards if I could use my own credit card there, but I can't, so the Executive Membership is worth it. Plus, I don't carry cash, hate checks, and my bank has stupid debit cards, so it's really my only option

@AmeliaBedilia: I'm pretty sure it's a Costco TOS policy to make sure you get minimum $55 back when you have the Executive Membership.

We belong to both. Just got Costco last month (ILs gave us the SC membership off their business membership) and we LOVE it. SO much better. DH thinks SC is geared more toward businesses and Costco more for the average consumer. We got the Executive Membership since it makes sense for us $ wise.
@swurlygurl: they do! We just got the overview last week

@AmeliaBedilia: I think it's Terms of Service? They refund the $55 membership upgrade fee if you don't earn that back in rewards

@AmeliaBedilia: @mrsjyw: Yes, terms of service. So it's part of their contract, not store-dependent.

Definitely Costco. If I had a BJ's nearby, I might consider them because, last I heard, they take coupons.
I have the Executive plus the Costco Amex. Great combo for savings.

@bluestriped bee: yes, BJ's will take one of their coupons and a manufacturer's coupon for the same item. We have a BJ's membership because it's closer. My parents have Costco and BJ's.

I love Costco especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. It looks so festive! I hate how crowded it gets on the weekends and seeing people being rude to each other for free samples. I prefer to go on the weekdays. Sam's Club is only 5 min away so I do go to Sam's too when I am lazy to drive far. It's so empty compared to Costco so it's really fast shopping!

@swedishfish: Oh, cool. I'm glad they still take coupons.
