I don't have a second, but from stories I hear everyone is different. I have a friend who just had her second and she went passed her due date and had a really long labor, her first was before her due date and a shorter labor.

Not necessarily. I went into labor at 39 weeks 4 days with #2 and had her a day later. But I totally was telling myself I was going to go past 41 weeks again, lol. I'm telling myself the 41+ weeks again this time around. I think there's a slightly better chance of going on or before your EDD with second and subsequent pregnancies, but some of my mom's longest pregnancies (42-43 weeks) were her 4th, 7th, and 8th, so you never can tell.

I went into labor on my due date and DD2 arrived the day after. DD1 was born 4 days after my due date. My kids just liked hanging out inside mommy!

P came a week later than G so definitely not earlier than my edd, or anywhere near it for that matter! Lol

It was true in my case. Was induced one day early for #1 and went into labor 10 days early for #2.

I am curious about this too! DS was 4 weeks early and had 1 week in the NICU... I hope to avoid that with baby #2!

Not for me. Both of my kids were born at exactly 39 weeks, after a 12 hour labor and 30 minutes of pushing. They were even born within 30 minutes of each other (DD was born at 8:31 pm and DS at 8:59)!
