So DH and I didn't feel too strongly either way about circumcision. We aren't religious, so that had no bearing, and when he was born the AAP held a neutral stance about it (which has since changed?) We decided that there wasn't a good enough reason for us to do it, so we didn't have him circumcised.

We're not sure we made the right decision, though. I'm concerned that I (or DH) won't be able to teach him how to properly keep it clean. I'm now concerned that I'll somehow ruin his little dude for life unless he gets a circ as a teen or young adult.

Neither of us felt strongly either way when I was pregnant and when he was born, so it was basically a coin flip (responsible parent of the year, right here). We figured after all was said and (not) done we'd feel okay about the decision. But we don't.

So now DS is a few months old and we're debating the pros and cons of getting it done now. Are we nuts? DH is stressing out about how much it might hurt him. If we do, do you think it would be better to get it done ASAP, before he can roll over onto it?

Did you delay in getting your LO circ'd? We're so torn...
