I had this from time to time. If you have other symptoms it can be an indication of pre-e, but on its own it wasn't a concern. Something about how fluid retention can put pressure behind your eyes and cause blurry vision or floaters.

As someone who has had both retinas detached and 4 retinal surgeries, I'd personally get it checked out. But don't let that completely freak you out, you would be seeing massive amounts of floaters if they were detaching.

That being said, I started getting aural/visual migraines in my last pregnancy, which sounds like what you're describing (and my head didn't hurt either).

I had this, too. My vision was also blurrier in general, and neither led to anything serious. Actually, neither led to anything at all.

Sounds like an aural migraine! Happens to me both pregnant and not.

@littlebittyhouse: I'm 33 weeks and have had three auras this pregnancy. I had more my previous pregnancy. My coworkers actually figured out I was pregnant at 8 weeks when I shouted something like "Ugh, I can't see. I forgot about this BS." In reality I'm relieved every time they go away without turning into "real" migraines like the auras did for me in puberty. My doctors are not concerned at all.

This happened to meet right around 28 weeks. I think it was related to my pregnancy anemia. Once I increased my iron it went away.
