All my baby clothes and gear that is still in good shape is being stored away for my brother for his future kids (if he ever has girls) and I do this happily and excitedly.
A friend asked if she could buy EVERYTHING. No price mentioned, just the idea of buying for her future daughter.
Some people might think it's a no-brainer but I'm seriously torn! Sure, it would be great to make a few dollars but it's my brother!
What would you do?

I would sell! Unless kids were in his immediate future (1-2 years!)

Also, there's no guarantee your future sil will want or appreciate all the stuff you're saving for them.

Tough! I plan to do the same thing. I guess it depends on what kind of storage space you have and how long it will be before he has kids. Maybe you can sell some and keep other items?

Ok I voted KEEP, but then I realized he doesn't even have kids yet?? I wouldn't keep stuff for that long, especially if you're done with kids... so I would sell it all! No guarantee he's going to have girls either.
My sister recently gave birth, so I gave away all my baby boy clothes and gear and toys to her that J isn't using anymore.

How far is your brother from having kids?
I received a ton of hand me down gear from my nephews and my DD has no problem being in a blue tub or whatever. I will save my stuff for my siblings future Los as well, hopefully one has a girl!
Would your friend be interested in just borrowing some of it and returning it when or if your brother has a girl?

I would ask what he thinks. And personally I would say if he wants them he can take them now. I just don't have a lot of storage though.

I'd sell. Who knows if he'd have a girl, and the clothes may not even be in season, depending on when the child is born. Maybe just keep a few things you really like.

Depends on how far he is away from having kids. If within the next few years, sure, keep it, but if we're talking like 5 years away, I'd probably hate to store something that long, especially since things like recalls, etc might change their usefulness.
My sisters are only 21 and nowhere near getting married or having kids, so we're going to sell our gear.

I'd sell it, or give it to my friend (if it was a close friend; I would feel weird getting money involved with a close friend). She wants it now, she obviously likes it, so better to get it off your hands! I would keep anything "sentimental" for your brother's future girls... otherwise, it might not even be his style, your gear might be out of date or whatevs by the time he has kids, he might not even have girls (for the clothes), etc.

Who knows when he'll get married and have kids and by that time there will likely be bigger/better/different baby gear. My friend saved all her baby stuff for her brother and her SIL doesn't appreciate or want any of it. She wishes she had just sold it or given it away earlier

I would sell unless babies were in his IMMEDIATE future. Like, in the next year. Maybe save a couple of pieces you really loved but definitely sell the rest. His SO may have completely different taste than you. I see some of the things my friends put on their babies and I'm like..... no thanks lol. I'm sure they would say the same for my style.
