Heh I got that a lot because C had no hair and most of her gear was neutral. I mostly just said thank you.

Dont' take it personal, i feel like most the time people don't look! I had a BOW in my daughter's hair and someone asked "how old is he?"

I get the opposite a lot with DS - one day when he was wearing a blue outfit with embroidered football players on it. He has a ton of hair so I guess that's why?

I have had several people ask me "how old is she?" lately. LO is 18 months old. We got his hair cut a few months ago. I really don't see how he could be mistaken for a girl, but oh well!

My son is 3.5 and still gets called a girl, I think because of his hair. I don't buzz cut it like most boys have. He has long beautiful blonde curls

People are dumb. It's the overalls, probably, which is super dumb!
She's so cute

Heh. I got that a lot when M was a baby. We had a red stroller and I guess red=boy?

@Foodnerd81: @LuLu Mom: I definitely don't take it personally and do just thank them. But inside I'm rolling my eyes a bit.
@daniellemybelle: thank you!

I get this all the time with my youngest. I think it's because she hardly has any hair. Even at halloween, when she was dressed up as a LADYbug, she still got called a boy.

DD has a pink car seat and stroller and I still get asked "how old is he?"

I got this while mine was wearing hot pink skinny jeans, a purple coat and a hat shaped like a cupcake. At least they mean to compliment her! She's a cutie, btw.

We get it all the time too, I don't dress her in pink too much and she hates bows has no hair ....lol
So I am.used to it

Aww no way! We got that a lot with K, because I didn't dress her in frilly pink, but I expected that!

Haha, my SIL keeps my nephew's hair very long and it's curly and she dresses him in tons of purple so everyone thinks he's a girl but she's confused as to why they think that.

People are so dumb! When my DD was not yet walking and we were in music class, I was asked about on several occasions if I was the nanny. I don't know why anyone would ask that, she is not at all biracial and looks just like me. I guess people are shocked that I like being a SAHM, not sure??

My DD had a pink hat on last week and someone still called her a "He."

@Mrs.KMM: I now have eyebrow envy. Girlfriend has some beautiful eyes

We get it a lot, but we're another that don't dress her in a ton of pink. But we've gotten it when she was in clearly girly clothes. It's so bizarre to me because we live in the south. NO ONE around here would be okay with putting a boy in girl clothes. So shouldn't anything girly at all be a clear indicator she's a girl? The other way around I'd get, but girl stuff should always equal girl around here.

Adorable baby girl!
I get that too, even when she is clearly dressed like a girl. She also has a gender neutral name so I just say thank you

I get the same question even with my boy about what looks to me like normal boy cloths.

We don't dress DD in terribly girly clothes so we get comments like that a lot. It doesn't bother me, but I do find it funny! One time someone asked how old he is and when I said "she's 6 months" they responded, "but she's wearing blue!" I was like... "So am I...!"

I got asked if DS was a boy while I was changing his diaper! I know there's a lot of gender spectrum discussion out there now but I think on baby's its safe to say penis = boy.

@Corduroy: ha ha ha ha ha. My husband got asked BY A DOCTOR if he and his twin sister were identical. So it's all up in the air.

I dress M in a ton of pink, she has a ton of hair, and still she gets called a "he." It's like people assume little babies are boys in my neck of the woods lol.

Someone asked me how old my son was recently and I said oh, he's 6 months.... Turns out they were talking about my 3 year old daughter! Wtf!?
