@mrsjyw: I made this last fall. I suggest a spice cake mix instead, as they were a little bland with plain vanilla:)
For me, it's pumpkin anything. Smoothies, pie, muffins. Pretty much if I can make it dairy free, I am going for it!

My family has been making Winter Vegetable Chili for years. http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/recipefinder/winter-vegetable-chili-2165. We replace the butternut squash with sweet potatoes and the black beans with kidney beans. It is hearty enough even guys don't miss that there is no meat in it.

@hellobeeboston: It's from better homes and gardens. The cider and cider vinegar make the meat really tender and the apples are a really great sweet addition! My DH and I can't get enough! The braised beef recipe sounds delicious too - I will have to try it!
