Your dog is so cute!!
We are getting our first dog (as a couple) in late April. We are super excited about it although we are a little crazy because our L.O. will be born in late summer. Oh, well. Go big or go home!

I think I just read an article online that Maltese are hypoallergenic. Was that a factor in choosing this breed?

Aww how precious!
No, we knew we wanted a small dog. My family had always owned Maltese's and they've been pretty good dogs and easy to potty train. HOWEVER, next time I will get a short haired dog. Banjo's hair matts up easily and requires a lot of maitenence.

@mrs. bird: She's lucky she's so cute, seriously the worst cat I've ever owned. They say she'll "mellow out" around 2 (she's 9 months). Strangest breed, my parents have her sister and they're 1 in the same. They like vegetables just the same as meat, no salad is safe. I will say she is great around our toddler and baby, she adores them and they love her, she loves to attack my husband and I though.

My sweet sweet Wubby...she was DH's dog before we started dating but she likes me better now

The first picture is Jasper (posing with the stuffed animal version of himself). The second is Mack playing on our snow day a couple weeks ago!
I had to add a picture of them together...they could hear DH in the hallway of our building talking and stood at the door waiting for him to come in!
