Snowman magnets to give as small gifts and sell at the craft fair at my son's school. I painted small wooden blocks and glued magnets on the back.

@Cherrybee: That's so neat! What type of paint/technique are you using? I usually just use acrylic craft paint.
@oscarthegoon: These are adorable! I've got a bunch of pompoms that need to be used...
I've been painting ornaments too. I'll try to get a picture and post it later!

@honeybear: they're alkyd resin paints (mine are by Pebeo). I use pipettes to apply it and then swirl it about. It's the product that produces the effect, very minimal talent required.

I'm working on a felt Christmas tree and ornaments for LO. So far I just have the tree cut out. I need to work on the ornaments tonight!

@psw27: I just made a felt Christmas tree too! My ornaments are so sad .... Circles, triangles and hearts, ha. That is as crafty as I can get. My daughter loves it though

@ocean81: I got too tired last night (thanks pregnancy!) to do anything but cut out a star and a few plain, red, round ornaments and my LO immediately went right for it this morning! So I think trying to make it "cute" will really only be for my own ego! hahaa

@psw27: @ocean81: I wanted to do one of these felt trees for my 3 year old this year! And then I remembered the baby would immediately crawl over and try to eat all the ornaments.
So far I've done almost nothing. I get lofty ideas then remember I don't have time to shower everyday...

I don't have a finished-product picture but I used this tutorial http://www.erinspain.com/diy-mason-jar-lid-ornaments/ to make ornaments, instead of wrapping paper I printed out four years of family photos on regular printer paper and modge-podged them to the lids (I did use the screw-on part also) and then hung up with burlap string. They are super cute and so easy.

I made this with LO (age 4). The idea was from Pinterest but I modified it by adding the Christmas lights. I love how it turned out! (All lines and lettering were done in Sharpie FYI.

I'm working on canning bbq sauce right now for extra Christmas presents. Does that count? I love doing crafty things but find it hard to have the extra energy for it at night. Cooking fun stuff is about as far as I go these days.
