We don't have FB but this is how I announced on IG. I found a similar pin. We bought the books the day we got our positive, and I have been in love with the stuffed animal for a year, it was the first thing we bought for baby.

So, I haven't done mine but we are planning on something like this but will add the ultrasound pic from our 15 week scan.

I actually just posted a pic of a jar of Prego tomato sauce and quoted their old slogan, "It's in there". People caught on very quickly!

@simplyfelicity: I'm probably going to wait u til our next appointment/ultrasound at the end of January - maybe mid? I am waiting to tell a lot of people in person first. Still have a few cousins to tell!

I don't have it on my phone, but we did a pic of our shoes plus a pair of baby shoes on the sidewalk near our house. Then I used an app to write "The ... Family is growing by two feet. Baby ... Expected April 2014. I saw it all over pinterest but our friends and family really liked it.

Ooh I was so proud of ours! We included our fur babies (well not the 2 cats, too hard to wrangle).

I posted our 12 week scan with the caption "David McK is going to be a daddy, and I'm pretty sure it's mine!"

D posted a screen shot from whatever Alien movie had the thing come out of the guy's chest with the caption (paraphrased) "My wife currently has a parasite growing inside of her. Doctors expect it will exit her body naturally sometime in early August." Classy guy, I know!

i'm 26 weeks and we haven't announced on facebook haha. but i'm jealous seeing all these adorable announcements!

We used tailgate chairs from my husband's alma mater.

love all these ideas! When I was pregnant with LO, i found pic online of a bun in an oven and changed it to my profile pic, then later in the day I posted the ultrasound with a status announcement of gender and due date.

I think the next time I am pregnant (hopefully soon!), I will do something that announces LO is a big brother.

I love this thread! All of these announcements are so much fun. With #1 we just posted an ultrasound picture and with #2 I postes DS in a big brother shirt. It was adorable (he was only 5 months when it was taken) but I won't share as this isn't gold.
