Although, I have a couple times when a recipe specifically asks for you to rinse it.

I only rinse it if it sits a bit too long and sticks together. Then, I have to rinse it a bit to get it to unstick. Otherwise, nope! Most of the time, I move it right from the hot water to the pan with the sauce in it.

I do. I swear I saw on the Food Network that you should blast it with cold water so that it stops cooking...for al dente. Hmf, was that wrong?

Yes... I thought you were supposed to so it doesn't stick? I also add a light drizzle of olive oil to prevent stickage.
