My best friend and I flew to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. My brother was at Tulane at the time and we had such a good time. He gave us the "behind the scenes" Mardi Gras so it wasn't all Bourbon Street all the time. It was an AWESOME trip!!

I was pretty tame. The only time I took a legit trip for spring break was to visit a friend who did a semester in DC. DC for a few days, then NYC and Boston. It was fun!! But pretty tame, lol.

My parents left me alone and went to Florida while it was my spring break my junior year of high school. I'm pretty sure it was really fun, but most of the weekend is a drunk blur.

Spring Break 2007 - it was the first trip (ski trip to Breckenridge) with the hubby and the very first trip my parents let me go "on my own"!! I was super sheltered growing up so this was a HUGE deal. The hubby was an avid skier, but I wasn't so we both decided to take snowboarding classes together since we'd both be newbies. He was so sweet, and the trip was awesome!!!!

My senior year of college I lived in our sorority house. We all planned to go on Spring Break together but got started planning too late to afford it so we had our own spring break in our house the next week. We put an inflatable pool in the living room (refilled it with fresh/warm water every night), drank every night, tried to convince some of our frat guy friends to strip for us, etc. It was a lot of fun and I think to this day we are the only ones who ever put a pool inside the house.

I met DH on Spring Break our senior year of high school.
A drunken camping trip and a cuddly night in a sleeping bag in the back of a friend's pickup later.... here we are.
