I have some wonderfully stretchy fabric - I think its jersey? - that I'm going to try and make a DIY hair wrap with. Something to keep my bangs out of my face while I paint or work around the house. I also need to finish my curtains for my office (it's been six months since I started the project) and finish up a rough draft of a 1st birthday invitation for a friend

Just finished a slew of curtains and one more set to go (at least for now). For E's room, they were Pottery Barn inspired and lined with blackout fabric. Sheers for the dining room, linens for the living room and den, and more blackout lined curtains for the guest room. I'll put up pics when I get the guest room curtains up, as I finished those late last night.

we're in the middle of refinishing a cheap craigslist-found dresser to match the expresso colored crib for the nursery! DH's first DIY project and he is totallly in his element will edit with pictures when we put it back together!

@PixieStix: Awesome, our kitchen definitely needs a lot of love. And baby excuses are the best. Mine are now toddler excuses. I freely admit to using "I would but it'll mess up their nap time" on a regular basis with my ILs 
@scg00387: I've never made any head bands either! I'm thinking I can pretty much wing it though since I want it a little longer than just going round my head, that way I can use it in different ways if necessary.
I saw a project that made me think of you! I need to get with you and see if I can convince you to make it for me Your prowess with the sewing machine trumps mine. As is exhibited by your latest project (which I love and need two of). Great job!

Wow, these are all amazing! Where do you all get these ideas?
I'm working on a fabric baby book. I have a lot of old shirts with nice fabric, so it would be nice to make a book that a baby can't rip up and that can be washed. Not much time for it though... been working on it since last fall! No idea who it's for, yet, but I started DS's favorite baby blanket three years before he was born Hopefully by the time this project is done, there will be someone to give it to in the family, or at work!

@Arden: Ooooo exciting. What kind of RV? Hubs and his family have always done RVs and my family has always done Airstreams, so small living is a fond family tradition here!
@MrsBrewer: It did! I saw it on IG. But I must admit, I am unfamiliar with this tradition. But to be fair, I didn't really pay attention to prom until my senior year and my dress was pretty much last minute awesomeness made by my mother
@Mrsjets: How sweet! And I love the picture of him playing with it. Great job! I really need to get my act together and make one myself. There's a local Habitat for Humanity store that I'm sure I can find most if not all of my materials for cheap.

ETA: I have a blanket that was started in 2009? I affectionately call it the Impossible Blanket Project. I was supposed to finish it before hubs and I married back in 2011 as a wedding present to him. It's still sitting in a plastic tote on a shelf in my office. In fact, I can see it from where I'm sitting, neatly labelled "The Impossible Blanket Project".

My mom gave me a little vanity chair that she didn't want any more. It's a gold wire chair with a cushion seat. I just spay painted it black and will eventually recover the seat with a different fabric (currently old-lady-floral).
Unfortunately I didn't take a before pic, but I will take an in-between and after pic!

The new curtains for the guest room (I had to order hardware on amazon so, won't be going up for a while.) (second picture)
And a new quilt top for one of DH's friends who is having a baby! (@scg00387: Ok, ok, thank you. As long as I swear off triangles, I seem to be okay. That and very simply patterned and small baby-sized quilts!)
