How did your LO learn to share at home with their siblings? My 2 year old doesn't mind sharing at daycare but at home is a whole different story!

I had the kids start taking turns.
Sharing is an ongoing battle.

The daycare toys are shared domain, while the stuff at home is clearly "hers." It's a common theme in sharing, lol.

If they fight over a toy, I take it away until my older one can earn it back with some good behavior.

Ughh...I don't even know how to tackle the sharing issue since they're both so little and don't really "get it" at all yet, but they are constantly taking things from the other one, who immediately bursts into tears. Sigh. Sharing. Grrr....

I have a 5 and 3 yr old. I usually ask who had it 1st - then tell them "ok you get 5 mins then its your brother/sister's turn"
We have also told our 5yr old to offer something else to his sister if she has something he wants. So if DD has the blue train and DS wants it he will say "if you give me the blue train I will give you the pink one"
Sometimes she agrees and all is well - other times she says no - so we go back to the "wait your turn"
Like @Andrea: if they continue to fight I take it away.

Oh, the sharing.
I feel bad because Wagon Jr. is so soft-hearted so I constantly make him give in to the very much more hard-headed LMW. It is MUCH harder to get her to share with him.
One of the few times they both refused to back down, they both had their hands on a toy and wouldn't let go and just kept screaming louder and louder. I ran in, said "nope!", wrenched it out of their grasps, put it away and sat on the couch. They both flopped onto their bellies and SCREAMED. Luckily for me, the screaming didn't last long and they both moved on.
