Do shipping costs ever turn you off from buying certain products? I just decided to buy the camera charm posted by Mrs Bicycle on the blog and it cost $4.99 and the cost of shipping is also $4.99. Thats kinda bizarre to pay 5 dollars to ship such a teeny charm. I thought the shipping price might even out if I bought more items but basically unless I spent $50 I dont qualify for free shipping and when I tried to order 2 more charms the shipping cost went up to about $9. So I guess I wont be buying this charm then lol

yes! I hate paying for shipping, period. On etsy, I will search elsewhere for a product to find a seller with cheaper shipping.

Yes! I hate paying for shipping and rarely buy something online unless I can get free shipping and free returns cause its even worse when you have to pay shipping, then decide you dont want it and have to pay to ship it back!

I'm more likely to buy something if it has free shipping and no tax. If I have to pay for shipping I think twice before buying it, especially if I'm paying tax as well.

i'll definitely skip an item because of that. babysteals gets me all the time, it's so depressing when an item is a great deal but I have to pay the same in shipping! forgettttt it!

I tend to shop at sites that have free shipping and free returns. I feel pressured to spend $50+ for free shipping on sites like diapers.com, and I hate it. My usual go to sites would be Amazon and Target (free shipping with Target cc + 5% off all purchases).

I almost never purchase online if I have to pay for shipping. And I think some places have the most ridiculous shipping costs ever. Pottery Barn is the worst. It's like $20 to ship a pillow case.

that's why I love amazon prime. free shipping, free returns and no tax! my brothers signs up for prime and he adds me As a member so it's totally free for me!

Absolutely. I buy mostly from Amazon and do free super saver shipping. If the product comes from another seller and I have to pay shipping, I usually don't buy it unless the shipping is reasonable ($5 to ship a $5 charm seems like a scam to me- and why can't multiple charms go in the same envelope?). We even kept our Amazon baby registry to only items that ship from Amazon and are eligible for free shipping.

i hate paying for shipping! that being said, if i find a deal on something (contact lenses this morning!) and it works out on a per item basis to be cheaper, i'll just suck it up and pay for shipping. but that is rare.

Being in Canada, shipping is even more expensive. Definitely a turn off for me!
