DD is about to turn 3 and we are getting her a "big girl" bed for her birthday. Since we moved into our new house in October we haven't done much with her room either, so it's pretty bare other than pink walls and green curtains. I'd love to see your DD's "big girl" room for inspiration and ideas!

My plan was a big girl version of her nursery theme (owls). The walls are a dusty purple and curtains navy blue. I found a comforter and adorable print that tied in all the purple, blue, pink and turquoise scheme. But DD had other plans and the room is now princess. Lol oh well it's not a Pintrest worthy room but she loves her princess things and it got her on board with the whole big girl bed thing so it's ok.
