Please show me your favorite convertible car seat under $250. We need to replace ours since our car was in an accident. While I liked ours I am not opposed to trying something new.

I have this and love it it's the same seat as loveistrange with a slightly higher rf limit for my tall kid. It doesn't meet the 100lbs rule it goes to 65 ff.

Ease of install was the #1 thing for me, and RF limit was #2. This is what we ended up with and I love it - I suck at installing car seats, but this thing is idiot-proof and takes me under 2 minutes! Tons of places run 20% off deals where you can get it for under $250.

Love our graco 4ever! It's a little over $250 but I got it for $199 with coupons and a mail in rebate.

@singingbee: I am so glad to see such positive reviews for that car seat. I will be checking it out today at the store. Hopefully it is in stock. I live in a small town without a lot of retailers who sell baby stuff.

We love love love Britax. Any of them. We have had all sorts, but both our girls were in Boulevards last winter when my husband was in a bad accident (both cars written off, airbags and such deployed) and the girls didn't even complain of a sore back. Britax is over $250 in Canada, but I will forever buy their products. They are substantial seats though-take a lot of space!
Bc both our kids are now FF, we have them in Frontiers, which as also love. -

We bought an Evenflo Symphony LX for $179 at BRU. I usually research these things to death, but impulse bought this and we're very happy with it.

@erinpye: Great seats! We have (sadly) been in 3 accidents in the 5 years since we became parents, and the safety that I have felt with the Britax made every penny spent on seats (which at this point is quite a lot after all the replacement and only % covered by insurance!) seem quadruple-y worth it!

Let's see, I have Graco and Britax and I can't say enough good things about both brands.

Thank you all for your suggestions! We opted for an Evenflo symphony seat named Emerson. I talked to a mum in store about the Evenflo seat that we purchased and she said she loved hers. Here is to hoping that they install super easy.
