I'm tired of our sad, old fridge! It still works but it's accumulating water on the lower compartment and you can't open it right after you close it because the suction seals the door! I have to wait 5 minutes before opening it again! Argh!
What fridge do you have? Do you love it? Is the ultra energy saving versions worth the extra cost? I'm a total fridge noob!

Feast your eyes on this se-xay beast. It was/is our dream fridge and totally lived up to it's expectations. French door. Pull out bottom freezer but there is another pull out drawer within it which eliminates the deep freezer issue of food getting lost. Then there's another drawer that is a fridge we use for all of LO's stuff. When the kid's are older this will be their drawer for snacks and drinks.

I like the exact temperature controls on ours! No more 1 through 5 or whatever...I can set it to 38 degrees!

@regberadaisy: we have a samsung that is very similar. Ours just doesn't have that extra refrigerator drawer.
We have this french door samsung. I really love it. I love having the fridge up top with the french doors.

here is ours, its a Samsung and we love it. My parents just did a ton of research and are going with a samsung as well (but with a middle drawer).

Oh, by the way, if you're looking for a stainless steal fridge, I've heard that Maytag is the only brand that's still magnetic! That's the one thing I hate about our stainless steal fridge - I can't put magnets on it!

@Adira: We have a KitchenAid and its also magnetic. I think most brands are these days, since people didn't like that the stainless ones weren't in the beginning!

@Mrs.Someone: Oh really?? That's just what the Home Depot guy told me last year, though I'm not sure they had the KitchenAid brand. The next time I'm buying a fridge though, I'm bringing a magnet to test it first!

Ours is an LG that's discontinued now. Love the french doors and double freezer drawers. The only negative is that my tall tumbler glasses don't fit well in the water/ice dispenser. The opening is kind of short. Other than that, love it!

I think you guys corrupted me! I've been searching and searching for all these cool French door fridges and they're crazy expensive! The one with 2 lower drawers is "new" here and I haven't found anyone selling it online yet. The one drawer French door is over $4k! Wth!

@regberadaisy: Sweden. I already lost the fight *cue sad music*. Without even showing DH the price, he announces how he doesn't want an ice machine (and the French door ones they have here come with one) AND when I showed him how pretty it is he automatically shut it down. He says he wants a "standard one" not one that's 1 1/2 the size. The standard here is one fridge, one freezer, next to each other. He then asked what we're gonna do with the gap that's left. Sigh.
Oh we'll, I can't handle that price tag anyway. Sob.
